Wining/Dining Ideas for Father’s Day that Can’t Go Wrong

Father's Day is celebrated in the US on the third Sunday in June, this year June 15th. It’s a day of commemoration and celebration of Dad. It’s a day to not only honor your father, but all men who have acted as a father figure in your life - whether as Stepfathers, Uncles, Grandfathers, or "Big Brothers".

Some common things that most men like are yachts, golf, ball games, drinking and of course women. So these can form the basic ideas for your day out with your father or father figure.

1. There is nothing like sailing along blue waters on a yacht and gorging on some exotic sea food and sipping on expensive wine, with the sea spray hitting you face. So if the man in question enjoys the sea and things related to it, renting out a yacht for the day will make it a gift that he will remember forever.

2. If golf is his cup of tea, then you can try a resort that has acres of green and food that you know that he will like so be assured that it’s an unforgettable gift. He can spend the entire day doing what he loves. Getting together his golf buddies will only double the fun for him.

3. If you are looking at spoiling your dad on a budget, then ball games are the thing. Take him to a game he loves and then top it off with a meal at a local restaurant that serves super size portions of his favorite fast food. Fast food, beer and ball games are a combination that any man will appreciate.

4. If you really want to plan an over the top party for your dad, then a pole dance/lap dance pub is the place. Forget that you are father and son for a day and be friends and get high on spirits and call out to your favorite women…A great way to connect and bond.

5. Some men nowadays are turning very health conscious over an age. If that’s the case with your old man he will appreciate nothing better than experimenting at an organic food, vegetarian or vegan restaurant. Dads might not admit it but they will feel very special if you pay attention to their sensitivities.

You can go through some restaurant guide like BooRah to find a range of restaurant and food services that deliver to your specifications in your preferred location. So give your dad a day to remember.
