The first of the BMW motorcycles was the R32, introduced in 1923. Even though BMW bikes have long been connected with the boxer engine, the company today produces motorcycles in a variety of configurations. All of BMW’s Motorrad’s bike manufacturing happens in its industry in Berlin.

BMW Motorrad recorded excellent sales in 2007 with the most popular model being the R1200GS. 2008 saw the introduction of the DOHC Boxer HP2 Sport. The R1200 RT has a reputation of being the company’s most popular touring motorcycle in the U.S.

The K 1200 LT has the distinction of being one of the most luxurious touring motorcycles in the market. BMW bikes range from 450 CC to 1200 CC, which are designed for off-road, sport and touring.
