Scouting teaches you to organize your life in a disciplined way and lead a simple life.Scouting also teaches children, especially, how to lead groups and also instills moral leadership values in them. They focus on trainings related to youth protection and evolve them into highly qualified adult trainers and leaders. They are taught to respect individual privacy and are disciplined in scouting values that exist among scout organizations throughout the world.
Participating in a girl scout troop can be beneficial for girls in the long run. They learn to pitch tents, manage with limited, available provisions, including the limited usage of match sticks in a camp site, and even draw water from wells. It prepares them to deal with some harsh realities of life. There is actually no difference with the working of the boy scouts or girl scouts and both are given equal exposure to all kinds of training.
